About the Agen Workshop ($250 euros with Agen Workshop registration)
Immerse yourself in the beautiful French language and culture. Join us for an incredible three-day French Immersion program, two days in the charming city of Agen, France, right after the Agen Workshop 2024, and one day in Bordeaux. From Monday the 29th of July to Wednesday the 31st of July 2024. The program is aimed at students with intermediate and advanced levels of acquisition.
The FRench IMMersion Agen 2024 (FRIMM’Agen 2024) program is designed to enhance your language skills and provide you with an unforgettable experience. Let’s take a closer look at what awaits you during these three enriching days.
On Monday and Tuesday mornings, we’ll dive into two and a half hours of engaging CI French classes. Led by Daniel Kline Logsdon-Dubois, you’ll receive personalized attention and guidance to improve your language proficiency.
Afternoons in Agen are all about exploration and discovery. We’ll take you on exciting visits to various locations in the city. On Monday afternoon we’ll do immersion tours in Agen where you’ll experience firsthand the rich culture, history, and charm that Agen has to offer.
On Tuesday we’ll explore French gastronomy and cooking with the help of local food places or shops (marchés, boulangeries, fromageries, charcuteries…). After the morning class we’ll shop at a local farmer’s market followed by COOKING and EATING TOGETHER (family style).
On Wednesday, we’ll embark on a captivating journey to Bordeaux by train (one way ticket included). Our immersion class teacher, Daniel Kline Dubois, will serve as your tour guide, leading you through the remarkable sights and sounds of this world-renowned city.
As soon as we arrive at the train station in Bordeaux, we’ll take the tramway to go to the historical center of the city to start our walking tour. We’ll visit a very popular neighborhood of Bordeaux where Daniel will talk about history, architecture and famous landmarks. Then we’ll take a break for lunch at a restaurant in the heart of the city. Savor the flavors of the region while continuing to immerse yourselves in the French language and culture.

The cost of the Immersion Class is 350 euros, which includes the two day program in Agen and one in Bordeaux. Please note that the prices do not cover the expenses for restaurants. The one way train ticket to Bordeaux is included in the price.
