Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) affect students’ brains ability to learn. The Presenter will share recent brain research on trauma responsive teaching and how to foster resiliency by connecting with our students in a World Language Classroom. Participants will learn strategies to build strong relationships and regulate students in need.
Leslie T. Kronemeyer is a high school Spanish teacher in Linwood, NJ. She strives to build a safe community for all her students and support students who have experienced trauma in their lives.
